This image was taken on a trip to Utah in Jan. 2005. We were hiking early in the morning at Zion. As I walked along the trail I glanced over to a large cut in the rock wall. In the middle of the cut stood a lonely tree. The sunlight on the other side reflected off the red colored rock and bushes. They looked as if they were on fire...hence the name "Burning Bush". In photography, seeing light is everything.
