This image was taken on a trip to Utah in Jan. 2005. We were driving along through an area of Southwestern Utah known as Devils Gorge. As I looked up I could see broken cliff bands with a few Bristlecone Pines here and there. The high clouds were whispy and I could see the moon at times when the clouds passed by. I stopped and hiked up the cliffbands until I could find a spot where the moon hung above a Bristlecone Pine tree and then I waited until I had a clear shot between the clouds.
